METHOD OF STOPPING THE INVASION OF ANTS

Do not be surprised seeing hordes of ants trooping inside your house during a rainy day. You cannot really blame these intruders in their search for dry shelter, food and water. They also believe they should not be starved to death, hence they move searching for survival.
The following are some of the requirements for hindering the invasion of ants.
- Dishwashing liquid
- Ant traps
- Boric acid or laundry detergent
- Dishwashing containers with sealable lids
- Zipper-lock bags
- Others include caulk, weather-stripping, duct tape or petroleum jelly.
Trace the ant line to its origin. This source can be any or combination of window, molding crevice or floor cracks.
Create a short time hindrance at the origin using boric acid or even laundry detergent powder.
Clear whatever food the ants have eaten from and dump it inside a garbage can at the outer part of your home.
Supposing the ants have forcefully dominate the kitchen garbage can, carry the can out , hose down everything and thoroughly with dishwashing liquid and water.
Gather the foods yet to be discovered by the ants inside zipper-lock plastic bags or any plastic containers having gold lids. Alternatively, you can load your refrigerator with the food materials.
Do not forget that ants can find their ways into metal threaded covers on glass jars. Let the jars be tightly sealed inside zipper-lock plastic bags.
Let all food materials be well kept inside cupboards particularly honey, sugar, maple syrup grains, cereals cookies jams and breads.
As soon as you have protected the food, vacuum the ant line using some cornstarch to assists in suffocating them inside the bag. Again, you can use dishwashing liquid water and rag as you like it.
With dishwashing liquid and hot water, wash all traces of ant line and clear potential scent of their trail.
Cover up wherever the ants entered. These include caulk windows as well as cracks and weather-strip doors.
Trim all the tree branches they can be using as a channel into the house.
Examine the place in about one hour. Squash any scouting ants you see around to prevent another imminent invasion in the nearest future.
Apply ant traps comprised of boric acid so that the returning ants can poison the whole colony.
